- Solicitation W912QR-15-R-0010 is now available for download from www.fbo.gov. This project is a Design/Build Project. The project consists of Design and Construction of the following: Systems Integration Maintenance Office (SIMO) Facility. The Facility will be a two story structure consisting of a maximum total gross area of approximately 48,400 SF at Fort Campbell, KY. The Facility Description of Proposed Construction: Reinforced concrete foundations and floor slabs; brick masonry, concrete masonry, and/or insulated metal sandwich wall panel exterior; standing seam metal and/or single ply membrane roof; site preparation, utilities, fire detection/protection, landscaping; parking and roadway extension, fencing, communication support, and all other necessary support; with an option to provide culvert piping and in-fill of an existing drainage ditch/creek. The facility will include but not be limited to private offices, open office space, classrooms, conference rooms, laboratory spaces, metal fabrication shop, computer labs, supply issue and storage, restrooms, showers, lockers. This project will comply with DoD antiterrorism force protection requirements per unified facilities criteria. Sustainable principles, to include Life Cycle cost effective practices, will be integrated into the design, development and construction of the project Supporting facilities shall include all related site-work and utilities (electrical, water, gas, sanitary sewer, and information systems distribution), lighting, parking, curb and gutter, sidewalks, storm drainage, landscaping, temporary building demolition and other site improvements. Provide features required by the Department of Defense (DoD) Minimum Antiterrorism for Buildings standards. Provide comprehensive interior design services developing fixtures, furnishings, and equipment (FF&E) package. Accessibility shall be in accordance with ADA. The estimated cost range for this project is between $10M to $25M. NAICS code is 236220. The performance period shall not exceed 480 calendar days. This is a Two-phase procurement. Proposals will be evaluated by the Government in accordance with the following criteria for Phase I: Past Performance, Technical Approach, and Pro Forma information. Following completion of the evaluation of Phase I, up to a maximum of five (5) most highly qualified Offerors will be selected to participate in Phase II. The estimated issue date for Phase I is 06 January 2015, with an approximate proposal due date of 19 February 2015. This project is available by downloading from the Internet only.
