- 01/15/2015 Amendment 0003-A second site visit will be held on January 21, 2015 at 9:30 AM EST. The solicitation close date will be extended to January 27, 2015 at the original time of 5:00 PM EST. Contact Dan Bishea at 859-393-5451 to coordinate attendance. 01/13/2015 Amendment 0002-An amendment is issued to reduce the dollar value requested in Factor 2 Past Performance. 01/06/2015 Amendment 0001-An amendment is issued to add the RFI responses, updated documents, and the sign in sheet. The RFO is also extended and will close on 01/22/2015 Proposals are being requested and this solicitation DTFAEN-15-R-00009 is being issued as a Request for Offer (RFO). FAA has a requirement for the Roof System Replacement Project at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky (CVG) Airport, Erlanger, KY Performance time for the entire project is 90 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP). SITE VISIT Site visits must be arranged during normal duty hours by contacting Dan Bishea at 859-393-5451 no later than December 18, 2014 at 3 PM EST. The site visit is scheduled for December 19, 2014 at 10:00 AM EST SITE VISIT ATTENDANCE IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. All Requests for Information (RFI) must be emailed to the Contracting Officer (karina.espinosa@faa.gov) no later than Tuesday, January 8 2015, at 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST) Potential offerors should note that the FAA reserves the right to communicate with one or more offerors at any time during the SIR process To be considered for award of this project, the contractor must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database (website: www.sam.gov). All proposals must be received no later than January 15, 2015, at 5:00 PM EST. Any responses received after the closing date and time, will not be considered in accordance with AMS provision 3.2.2.3-14, Late Submissions, Modifications, and Withdrawals of Submittals. Overnight delivery of responses to this RFP may also be impacted if not sent in sufficient time to allow for the special mail-handling procedures in place at the Southern Region Office. This RFP is not to be construed as a contract or a commitment of any kind. The Government shall not be liable for payment of any costs attributed to the preparation and submission of requested proposal documentation. Magnitude of Construction Projects: The estimated construction price if between $400,000 and $600,000. NOTICE for informational purposes for Minority, Women-owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
