- The Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection, intends to award a sole source purchase order to Route1, Toronto, Ontario, Canada for custom modification of Route1 proprietary software to provide secure remote scanning capabilities for installed Route1 hardware and software in CBP locations. The purchase will be under simplified acquisition procedures and Other than Full and Open Compeitition as authorized by FAR 6.301-1. The anticipated award date is 1/29/15. This is not a request for quote. No award will be made on the basis of quotes received in response to this notice. No solicitation will be issued for this sole source requirement and no other information will be provided.
