- ***EXPECTED DATE FOR RECEIPT OF QUOTES UPDATED*** The Department of the Air Force, Hill AFB, Utah intends to make a multiple award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract to qualified companies for the provision of abatement of asbestos and lead based paint, heavy metals, rodent droppings, animal excrement and other abatement activities at Hill AFB, as well as Little Mountain Test Annex (LM), Utah Test and Training Range (UTTR), Dugway, Carter Creek and other associated sites located in Utah and Pinedale, Wyoming. The Abatement Service will include the following: The contractor will provide Asbestos Abatement Services which conform to all Local State, and Federal laws and regulations applicable to the removal and disposal of Asbestos containing materials. Contractors are requested to throughly review all requirements in the Statement of Work prior to submission of questions or submitting a proposal. All pricing shall be included in the attached Supplemental Schedule B. A seed task for the first task order of this contract will be provided upon release of the solicitation.The contractor shall provide services to Hill AFB with all labor, equipment,materials,insurance,licensing,incidentals, transportation, and disposal of asbestos containing materials and lead based paint removal as detailed in the Statement of Work and attached documents included with the solicitation documentation. The award will be made to the responsible contractor who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government based on a Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable approach. The Contracting Officer anticipates awarding a firm fixed priced contract. The contract ordering period is expected to be five years in duration. The solicitation will be available on or about 3 December, 2014 and will be distributed solely through the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about the acquisition. All Contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. The website for registration is www.sam.gov. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about 1 March, 2015. The solicitation is set aside 100% for small business. The North American Industry Classification System code for this solicitation is 562910 with a size standard of $20.5 million. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. All responsible small businesses may submit a quote.
