- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Precision Strike Weapons - PMA - 201-G6 intends to enter into sole source negotiations and subsequently award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) delivery order to The Boeing Company under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-11-G-0001. This order is for the acquisition of hardware kits to upgrade from version 8/9 to 9/10, required Engineering Change Proposal (ECP), reprogramming of A3 Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs), development of required Ordnance Alterations (ORDALTs), 90 Day Prime Spares Kit, 2 Year Prime Spares Kit Classified, 2 Year Prime Spares Kit Unclassified, Interface Control Documents (ICDs), Cable Running Sheets, Provisioning Parts List (PPL) Approved Parts List (APL), and publication development. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. Unless stated herein, no additional information is available. Requests for the same will be disregarded. A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. GENERAL INFORMATION: The Boeing Company is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer and integrator of the Harpoon weapon system and its related equipment. The Boeing Company alone has the experience, special skills, proprietary technical documentation, software/algorithms, facilities and manufacturing techniques required to produce, assemble and integrate this equipment and furnish the supplies and services within the required timeframe. Accordingly, The Boeing Company is the only known qualified, responsible source that can fulfill the requirements specified herein. Once NAVAIR finalizes its requirements for the subject effort, a prerequisite for receiving a contract award is registration in the System for Award Management database.
