Description
Draft PWS The 700th Contracting Squadron intends to issue a solicitation for non-personal services for a traffic light maintenance and repair contract to be performed at Ramstein AB, Germany. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this solicitation is 238210. The requirement is as follows: The Contractor shall provide all management, transportation, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to maintain and repair all traffic signals in the KMC area (Ramstein AB, Germany) in a manner that will ensure continuous and reliable operations. Maintenance and repair services shall be in accordance with the local transportation codes, commercial practices, and traffic signal manufacturer's specifications. The contractor shall perform annual inspections for all traffic signal systems including controllers, light heads, cross walk lights, cross walk controls, and sensor loops. Additionally, service calls, when required, shall be performed 24 hours per day, seven (7) days per week, 365 days per year. Please see attached Draft PWS for more details and attached documents included with the solicitation documentation. The period of performance will be one (1) base year plus four (4) option years. The estimated performance start date is 1 Oct 15. The award will be made to the responsible contractor who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government based on a Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable approach. The Contracting Officer anticipates awarding a firm fixed priced contract. This solicitation will be issued via FedBizOps (FBO) as well as any amendments to the solicitation. Estimated posting of this solicitation will be approximately 2 Feb 15. Hard copies of the solicitation and amendments will not be mailed. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about the acquisition. All Contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. The website for registration is www.sam.gov.
