- FCI FAIRTON EGG CONTRACT The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correction Institution, Fairton, New Jersey, intends to issue solicitation RFQP02041500004 for the requirement of large Grade (A) Eggs for one year after award of contract, April 01, 2015 thru March 31, 2016. This will be a requirements type contract and funds shall be obligated by individual delivery order and not by the contract itself. The quantities are estimates only for the benefit of the offer for, and in no way is to be construed as precise requirement, nor constitute a BOP guarantee. Offers will be FOB destination (no fuel surcharges will be accepted) with delivery April 01. 2015 through March 31. 2016. Any items shipped prior or after will be returned at vendors expense. Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Institution, 655 Fairton-Millville Road, Fairton, New Jersey 08320, in accordance with the delivery schedule contained in the solicitation. The contract type will be a firm and fixed price but based on Unrner Barry Weekly Large Egg Market Report. The Government will award to the responsible offer(s) whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is considered to be most advantageous to the Government. Past Performance and price will be considered. The solicitation will be made available on or about JANUARY 16, 2015 and will be posted to the General Services Opportunities website www.fbo.gov. Hard copies of this solicitation will not be made available. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is FEBRUARY 11, 2015 COB. Faith based organizations and Community based organizations have the right to submit offers equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered. Please see addenda/Statement of work for details and specifications which must be met. DO NOT CHANGE SPECIFICATIONS OF THE SOLICITATION OR QUOTE WILL BE CONSIDERED NON-RESPONSIVE. FCI FAIRTON RESERVES THE RIGHT UPON INSPECTION TO RETURN THE ITEM/S IF THEY ARE DAMAGED OR NOT TO SPECIFICATIONS AS LISTED IN THE SOCLITATION. All Vendors who submit quotes must be registered in www.SAM.gov to be considered for Award 1.
