- PROGRAM ANALYST - HR COORDINATOR ASSISTANT US DEPARTMENT OF THE TREASURY OFFICE OF TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE The U.S. Department of the Treasury is seeking a detail oriented Program Analyst to serve in its Washington, DC-based technical assistance program office. The person selected will be hired under a personal services contract. The Office of Technical Assistance (OTA) provides advisors to over 50 countries in five functional areas: banking and financial services, budget and financial accountability, economic crimes, government debt issuance and management, and revenue policy and revenue administration. The Program Analyst will support the fast-paced, high-energy office in planning, developing, coordinating, implementing and evaluating program office activities. These duties include, but are not limited to: assistance in implementing and coordinating HR programs and procedures in areas such as recruitment, staffing, employee relations, and benefits; coordinating all aspects of the complicated process of processing personnel and personal services contractors; maintaining specialized information concerning the status of present positions, personnel and contracts; analyzing and formulating procedures in administrative areas related to assigned projects and activities and respond to a wide range of specific issues; coordinating and monitoring transactions to ensure policies and procedures are followed to ensure the integrity of onboarding activities; managing and ensuring administrative support for employees and contractors; preparing briefings and reports on assigned projects for internal and external distribution; and coordinating annual trainings and meetings. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and two to five years' work experience in project coordination, customer service, or administration or program management. Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills as well as proficiency with word processing and spreadsheets are required. Experience working with financial management information systems is desirable. Foreign language ability is a plus. An active security clearance is highly desirable. US citizenship is required. SALARY: In accordance with program regulations and based on demonstrated salary history, salaries range from $25.24 to $47.58 per hour. Candidates will need to be eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate level of security clearance, potentially up to the level of Secret. Candidates will also be required to obtain medical clearance prior to international travel for OTA.
