- Description
- The Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) Integrated Product Team (IPT) at the Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division (NAWCWD), Point Mugu, CA intends to procure, on an other than full and open competition basis from Raytheon Company, 1010 Production Rd., Fort Wayne, IN 46808-4106, a three year indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract to procure Systems Engineering Support, Test Support, Product Assurance Support, Logistics Support, Training Support, Production Support, and Fleet support for the ALQ-227 Communication Countermeasure System (CCS) for the EA-18G aircraft. The contract scope will include domestic, foreign military sales (FMS), and foreign/domestic cooperative development efforts. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(i), only Raytheon Company has proprietary rights as the sole and original designer, developer, and manufacturer of the ALQ-227 CCS. Raytheon Company, to the exclusion of other contractors, possesses the unique capability and proprietary data that can satisfy the minimum needs of the Government. The Government anticipates a June 2015 award. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals, however any interested firm, other than Raytheon Company, should contact Brett West via email no later than 12:00 pm (PST) on February 4, 2015.
