- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR Part 13 as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). The RFQ number is N00189-15-Q-0581. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: www.acqnet.gov/far and http://www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/dfars/index.htm. The NAICS code is 811212 and the Small Business Standard is $27.5M. The proposed contract action is for maintenance/support to brand name equipment. The brand name and model number of the product(s) are: CLIN 0001 “ Dell Server Maintenance/Support for the following equipment: (2) Dell PowerEdge R610 Servers, (8) Dell PowerEdge R900 Servers and (2) Dell PowerEdge R710 Servers. Period of performance is to be one year after contract award. Place of performance will be C4AD Facility, 116B Lake View Parkway, Suffolk, VA 23435. Service shall consist of śNext Business Day On-Site Response ť for the servers that are still within expected Life Cycle. The servers under this procurement are expected to remain in service through the life of this requested warranty period. New systems are to include DELL component parts. The following FAR provision and clauses are applicable to this procurement: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items; 52.212-3 and its ALT I, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items; 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items Additional contract terms and conditions applicable to this procurement are: DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items; DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items It is the quoters responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at this address: http://farsite.hill.af.mil. The Government intends to award to the quoter who provides the lowest price, technically acceptable. To be awarded this contract, the offeror must be registered in the SAM. (https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/). All vendors MUST have a publicly visible registration in the System for Award Management (SAM). Duns and Bradstreet, CAGE Code and Federal Tax ID numbers MUST be listed on quotes.
