- Description
- NSWCCD, Philadelphia Site intends to procure technical support services to accomplish refurbishment of two (2) 6,800 gallon per day reverse osmosis units and one (1) 2,000 gallon per day high purity reverse osmosis unit originally manufactured by Aqua-Chem, Inc. This will be a Cost Plus contract. This contract shall be procured on a sole source basis from Aqua-Chem, Inc. The reverse osmosis units are proprietary to Aqua-Chem, Inc, they own all technical documentation associated with the units, and they are the only company that possesses the necessary material to refurbish the units to as new condition. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
