- In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5.2.3(a) this announcement serves as preliminary notice of the Department of Defense Education Activity (DODEA)/Domestic Dependent Elementary and Secondary Schools (DDESS) intent to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) to provide Custodial Services for DODEA/DDESS facilities located at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. The resulting award will be for a service contract for a base period of one year with four (4) one year options. The anticipated start date for the award is April 6, 2015. A brief synopsis of the services required is as follows: Offerors shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, management, supervision, transportation, and other services necessary to perform custodial services in various schools located on the Fort Campbell installation. Services performed shall consist of custodial services necessary to maintain a satisfactory facility conditions and present a neat, clean, and professional appearance. The following is a listing of the schools that will require custodial services: 1. Barkley Elementary School 4720 Polk Road 2. Fort Campbell Bus Barn 5440 Airborne St 3. Fort Campbell High School (to include School Annex Bldg. A902, Relocatable classroom Bldg. B902) 1101 Bastogne Ave 4. Fort Campbell Maintenance and Grounds Maintenance Buildings 1110 & 1112 Falcon Loop 5. Jackson Elementary School 675 Mississippi Ave 6. Lincoln Elementary School 471 8 Polk Rd 7. Lucas Elementary School 2115 Airborne St 8. Mahaffey Middle School 585 South Carolina Ave 9. Marshall Elementary School/District Superintendent's Office (includes warehouses at building numbers 75 Texas Ave/ 77 Texas Ave 10. Wassom Middle School 3066 Forrest Ave 11. Barsanti Elementary School 7409 McAuliffe Road The solicitation when posted will be a total small business set-aside. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 561720 - - Janitorial Services with a Standard Size of $18.0M. The solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on or about 3 February 2015. The offer closing date will be specified in the solicitation when it is issued. A Firm Fixed Price contract will be awarded under Federal Acquisition Regulation Parts 12 and 13. A best value lowest price technically acceptable award decision will be made from offers received. In accordance with FAR 52.237-1 a site visit/conference will be held on-or-about 11 February 2015, 8:00AM EST. This date is tentative and the actual location, date and time will be in the solicitation when issued. Interested contractors are encouraged to attend. The FedBizOpps.gov website will be used to issue the solicitation, amendments or any other information concerning the solicitation. No additional media (CD-ROM, floppy disks, faxes, emails etc) will be provided. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible to receive an award from any Government solicitation. For more information visit the SAM website at http://www.sam.gov. After completing SAM, in order to download documents contractors and their subcontractors must register at www.fbo.gov. In order to locate the solicitation, interested parties can go to FedBizOpps website and search for the solicitation number (HEVAS6-15-R-0001) at www.fbo.gov. Interested vendors can register at the website to be put on an interested vendors list (IVL) for the solicitation that others can access through the FedBizOpps site. It is the offerors responsibility to check the FedBizOpps site as necessary for any posted changes to this solicitation and all amendments.
