- Draft Statement of Work for New VATVHS approach and deliverables Develop a Lean system/curriculum that focuses on delivering value in the eyes of the customer through the unremitting efforts to eliminate waste. Educate Staff that can lead focused on continuous improvement while demonstrating respect for people. Create a curriculum used to create a culture and Lean mindset and an enabling strategy which helps TVHS organization to effectively implement business strategies and initiatives to achieve overall objectives. Develop a Lean system/curriculum that focuses the entire organization to make improvements on a daily basis and Successful lean leaders which are able to asks the right questions in helping the people who they work for, to learn and discover the right solutions to the problems they are trying to solve. University within 50 miles of Tennessee Valley Healthcare System Murfreesboro Campus taught modules followed by Veterans Administration Tennessee Valley Healthcare System (VATVHS) Personnel Project supported by University within 50 miles of Tennessee Valley Healthcare System Murfreesboro Campus Improvement on-demand video materials a.University Train the Trainers and Mentoring Coach Consultation/Instruction "A University designed and delivered fifteen 3 hour session of consulting/instruction with VATVHS staff "A University co-designed with VATVHS personnel an Awareness of Process Improvement course which will be delivered by VATVHS personnel to all hospital employees. Total of 45 hours of training and follow on coaching to enable Level 2 VATVHS employees to train and lead Process Improvement Teams. b.UNIVERSITY Level 1 Certification in six months "A UNIVERSITY designed and conducted full day class per month for six months on philosophy, infrastructure and tools of Process Improvement adapted for VATVHS application Total of 96 hours of training over 6 months (8 hours a month from UNIVERSITY) Each successful participant will be awarded a UNIVERSITY Certificate of Level 1 Training c.UNIVERSITY Level 2 Certification for VATVHS employees "A UNIVERSITY designed and conducted full day class per month for an additional six months for Level 1 holders on advanced Process Improvement topics adapted for VATVHS application "Level 1employees additionally complete on-line materials designed and developed by UNIVERSITY. These materials will be web hosted by VATVHS. VATVHS will be given all future rights to utilize the materials placed on their web host without additional cost or fees. "Total of 96 hours plus on-demand modules of training over six months (8 hours a month from UNIVERSITY ) Each successful participant will be awarded a UNIVERSITY Certificate of Level 2 Training Summary of deliverables "141 hours (Item (a) 45 hours, Item (b) 48 hours, and 48 hours, Item (c) ) of instructional/coaching time from UNIVERSITY with unlimited participants. "Process Improvement Philosophies Material adapted by UNIVERSITY to VATVHS processes for live instruction/coaching "Comprehensive On-line on-demand materials developed by UNIVERSITY with consultation with VATVHS for the support material. Material will be host on the web by VATVHS and they will not incur any additional cost for its use. "UNIVERSITY designed Workbook for exercises used in live and on-line on-demand instruction "UNIVERSITY designed Book of lesson plans and supporting materials for Train the Trainer and Mentoring Coach "UNIVERSITY provided facilities for instruction and project work conducted both by UNIVERSITY faculty and VATVHS.
