Description
THIS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers intends to increase capacity of Interim Remedial Action Contract (RAC), W912WJ-14-D-0002. Please note that this Notice of Intent was previously posted incorrectly citing FAR 6.302-2 as the authority. All responses received within 10 days of this corrected notice will be considered by the government. This increase in capacity is so that the contractor, Jacobs Engineering (Jacobs), can complete one additional dredge season while a new site specific RAC is finalized. The current contract does not have sufficient capacity to allow for dredging to be continued, until a new RAC is awarded. The additional capacity on the Interim RAC is required to ensure that dredging of contaminated sediment continues to occur in 2015. Contract No. W912WJ-14-D-0002 Increase in capacity for Interim Remedial Action Contract. The work will consist of approximately 125 days of dredging along with technical support, operation and maintenance of the dewatering and water treatment facilities for the Corps of Engineers New England District. All responsible sources may submit a response, which, if timely received, will be considered by the agency. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. It is a market research tool being used to determine the availability of other qualified sources that can meet the requirements identified above. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this notice of intent. All responses received within 10 days of the posting of this notice, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Submit any inquiries within 10 days of the posting of the notice of intent via email: Jessica.R.Loc@usace.army.mil (list W912WJ-14-D-0002 in the subject line of the email) or mail to U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, ATTN: Jessica Loc, 696 Virginia Rd., Concord, MA 01742
