- This is a pre-solicitation notice. RAF Lakenheath/RAF Mildenhall, United Kingdom seek commercial sources that are capable of providing airfield bird air strike hazard (BASH) deterrence and wildlife control services. Service provider will be responsible for all necessary licenses or certifications to operate legally in the United Kingdom for performance on or after 30 September 2015. All prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (www.sam.gov) for award consideration. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561710 and the size standard is $11M. See attachment for full notice details. Edit: 20 January 2015: A delay shall postpone the release of the solicitation until approximately 2 February 2015.
