- All questions regarding this SYNOPSIS should be submitted in writing to the following E-Mail address: Punnie.Chittchang@usace.army.mil. This Acquisition shall be competed as a 100% small business set-aside requirement. This synopsis is for the purpose of a pre-solicitation notification only. The US Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa District intends to issue solicitation number W912BV-15-T-0016 to provide Herbicide Application Services to Keystone, Heyburn & Arcadia, Oklahoma. Herbicide Application Services include services to include such tasks but not limited to herbicide application on dam embankments, levees and dikes, public use areas, improved areas and structures, resource management areas and other project lands. Application/Treatment Areas includes the grass/gravel areas and rip rapped areas. Contractor must supply all necessary equipment and supplies to complete the performance requirements. Performance of work is for the areas at Keystone, Heyburn and Arcadia, Oklahoma. The contract type will be a firm fixed price contract for the period of 1 Mar 2015 - 29 Feb 2016. The contract will also include four (4), one (1) year option periods to be exercised at the purview of the government. A pre-conference meeting/site visit WILL be scheduled. Please check back for an updated date, time and address to be posted on www.fbo.gov. The site visit will be to familiarize potential offerors with the general conditions of the performance site. Attendance is not mandatory but encouraged. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this program is 561730, a Classification Code of S208, and a business size standard of $7.5 million. The Government will award a contract resulting from the subsequent solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer is conforming to the requirements of the solicitation and will be most advantageous to the Government considering price. This solicitation will be issued via Internet only on FebBizOpps Website at http://www.fbo.gov. Notification of amendments shall be made via FebBizOpps only. It is the contractors' responsibility to check the above-listed internet address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation. Any amendments issued to the solicitation must be acknowledged by potential offerors. No corrections and/or changes to proposals will be allowed after the proposal submittal due time and date. Estimated solicitation issue date is on or about the estimated date of January 30th, 2015. Quotations are anticipated to be due on or about February 18th, 2015. Contractors must be registered and current with System For Award Management (SAM), in order to receive a Government contract award. To register, the SAM Internet address is: http://www.sam.gov.
