Description
Proposed solicitation,SPE7M215R0088 is for NSN 5925-01-508-8389, a Circuit Breaker. Anticipated quantity is 15 ea, which is to be shipped to New Cumberland PA 17070 in 300 days. FOB point is origin I/A/W First Destination Transportation. Inspection and acceptance to take place at destination. Anticipated award to be a firm fixed price contract. The solicitation will be issued unrestricted and will include a 50% option. Item is to be manufactured I/A/W SPD Electrical Systems, Inc. (30086) p/n ETN3225. This acquisition is for supplies for which the government does not possess complete unrestricted technical data, therefore the government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under authority of 10 USC2304( c)(1). All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered. Based on market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreement Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. Dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. This solicitation will be made available on its issue date of 22-22-2222 at HTTPS://WWW.DIBBS.BSM.DLA.MIL/. PLEASE NOTE: THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL THE ISSUE DATE. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The Contracting Officer may utilize online Reverse Auctioning as a means of conducting price discussions under this solicitation. A written offer is required and is to be returned to the Bid Room at DLA Land and Maritime, PO Box 3990, Columbus OH 43218-3990, or can be faxed to 614-692-4275. In addition, submission of proposal by electronic commerce (e-mail) is allowed. Submit e-mailed proposals to the Bid and Abstract Room at: ContractorProposalDLALandandMaritime@dla.mil.
