Description

SOLE SOURCE NOTICE THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS/QUOTES The proposed contract actions are for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, FAR 13.106-1, and FAR 13.501(a). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete these proposed contracts based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The contractor will install four (4) Uninterrupted Power Supply System (UPS) on four 1300-ton Trane Chillers at the Energy Plant. The system must be capable to provide the required power requirements to support 1300-ton Trane Chillers. The equipment is located in the Central Energy Plant Building #2, 6900 North Pecos Road, North Las Vegas, Nevada 89086. Contractor will provide a "Turn-key" service to install UPS system (4ea.) and components to provide battery back-up power source on 1300-ton Trane Chillers control circuits. Contractor will provide the wires, conduits, UPS, transformers, all the electrical components and mounting brackets needed to make this project function properly. The contractor is responsible of planning project, installing quality products and testing system. Contractor must be authorized to work and service Trane products in order to connect UPS system to the Trane Chiller control circuit.
