Description
DRAFT Dept. of Commerce FY11 Image Count Data DRAFT Statement of Work (SOW) - Dept. of Commerce (DoC) Print Management Services Request for Information (RFI) Dept. of Commerce (DoC) Print Management Services Department of Commerce (DoC) Print Management Services Request for Information (RFI) This announcement is a Request for Information (RFI) to identify parties having interest in and the resources to support the work covered in the attached Statement of Work (SOW). This is NOT a Request for Proposals. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS EXIST AT THIS TIME and telephone requests will not be honored. No award will be made on the basis of quotes or offers received in response to this RFI. GSA, on behalf of the Department of Commerce (DoC), is seeking contractors to provide web-based managed print services for the 21 st Century Workspace Initiative that can be scalable for all agencies within the DoC Herbert C. Hoover Building (HCHB). The managed print services requirement will require that all hardware will be 100% owned and operated by the contractor. The Government will not own, lease, operate or provide oversight/management of any hardware. The contractor will also be solely and exclusively responsible for keeping the machines operational as necessary to meet "Print Service Level Agreements." Contractor owned hardware will not operate on private Government networks. The Government will provide a publicly accessible "Printer DMZ enclave" in which all printers will be located. The Contractor will have both remote and local access to the "Printer DMZ." In addition, web based management software owned and operated by the "Print as a Service" contractor will enable each individual agency within DoC to "provision" users and issue "print cards," as well as track user print volumes by individual or aggregated by agency maintained groups. These services are required to assist the DoC in improving end-user productivity, increasing security and reducing costs by implementing the "Print as a Service." The base period of performance shall run 7 months from March 2015 to October 31, 2015, and shall have two 3 month option periods. DRAFT requirements are attached for information purposes only. Please submit to the contracting office a brief capabilities statement (no more than 3 pages excluding the cover sheet) demonstrating ability to provide Print Management Services as described in the attached draft SOW. This document shall address, as a minimum the following: (1) Provide the name and address of company, primary point of contact, email address, web site address, telephone number, and DUNS number: (2) Provide size category (large/small business, etc.); (3) GSA Multiple Award Schedule contract number, if applicable; (4) the North Atlantic Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code; (5) Provide feedback on areas where the SOW is not clear; (6) Provide rough order of magnitude pricing for the 7 month base period and 2 three month options ; and (7) Provide feedback on the likelihood of completing this initiative under the GSA Multiple Award Schedule 36. This information may be provided by email to julius.bradshaw@gsa.gov and daniel.higgins@gsa.gov by 5:00pm. Eastern Standard Time on Wednesday, January 28, 2015.
