- ** Update to Synopsis new solicitation number will be N68836-15-T-0003, which should be posted on or by 23 January 2015. The anticipated commence date will be 1 May 2015.** On behalf of Joint Personal Property Shipping Office (JPPSO) Southeast, NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center, Jacksonville, Fl intends to solicit utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR13.5) on a 100% small business set-aside basis, a packing, containerization and local drayage of direct procurement method (DPM) personal property shipments for the Pensacola, FL area. The contractor will furnish all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, services and materials, except as specified in the performance work statement as furnished government property, for the preparation of personal property of Department of Defense (DOD) personnel for shipment and/or storage and related services through the DPM. Previously this was awarded as a primary and two secondary contracts, N68836-10-D-0022, N68836-10-D-0023 and N68836-10-D-0024. It is the intent of the government to award only one contract for this requirement. The combined synopsis/solicitation number is N68836-14-T-0131. The period of performance will consist of a base year and four (4) one-year options. The solicitation resulting from this announcement will be available on or about 20 May, 2013 to interested parties via https://www.neco.navy.mil/ website. The Government will not distribute a hard copy of this solicitation or amendment documents. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offerors to access the posted documents. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or FAXed. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to receiving a government awarded contract.
