Description

The Veterans Health Care Systems of the Ozarks (VHSO) is submitting this Request for Information (RIF) to conduct market research for qualified vendors interested and capable of providing treatment and/or residence (shelter) services for homeless veterans for a period of 90 days in the Ft. Smith Arkansas area. Services include but are not limited to the following: patient admissions, housing, dietetic services, laundry, and therapeutic and rehabilitative services. The vendor must have the capabilities of housing a 10 to 15 possible beds. The contractor's facility must have a current occupancy permit or license, as required by the authority that has jurisdiction to issue such. The contractor must adhere to all applicable local, state and federal laws. A possible contract for a base period with 2 to 4 possible 12 month optional periods may result from this RFI. Interested vendors should submit their information including, DUNS number, capabilities, location of facility, business size, and point of contact information no later than close of business January 29, 2014 to J. Alex Smith Contracting Officer at james.smith12@va.gov. No phone calls will be accepted.
