Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is in need of a contractor for a construction dredging project. The project is for maintenance dredging within the navigation channel and harbor at Milwaukee Harbor, MI with disposal at the Milwaukee DMDF, and construction of 900' gravel road for improved access to DMDF. Construct an access to DMDF. This announcement serves as the advance notice for this project. The solicitation is expected to be advertised at the end of February 2015 and awarded around the middle of May 2015. The project will be located near the 53207-1054 zip code. The estimated cost of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990, which has a size standard of $27,500,000 in average annual receipts for dredging. A bid bond in the amount of the offer is required. The contract is anticipated to have a completion date of 60 days. In order for interested contractors to conduct business with the Federal Government, contractors must register their corporations at http://www.sam.gov.
