- V - TRANSPORTATION, TRAVEL AND RELOCATION NOTICE DATE: JANUARY 22, 2015 Notice Type: Pre-solicitation NAICS: 483114 - COASTAL AND GREAT LAKES PASSENGER TRANSPORTATION Contracting Office: Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Regional Acquisition, 200 Granby Street, Suite 815, Norfolk, VA 23510 The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Regional Acquisition, Norfolk, VA on behalf of the National Ocean Services is soliciting a requirement for vessel support services to conduct observation work in the Puget Sound Region of Washington. The Contractor must follow specifications within the attached Statement of Work. This RFQ is 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 483114. Solicitation number EA-133C-15-RQ-0168 will be issued January 22, 2015 and will close February 5, 2015 at 12:00pm EST. The total period of performance for all work specified in the Statement of Work is estimated to start May 28, 2015 through September 21, 2015. The Government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed-price purchase order to the responsible quoter whose quote, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, considering Personnel Qualifications, Past Performance, and Price. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The anticipated award date is on or about February 13, 2015. Contractors are encouraged to register with the FedBizOpps Vendor Notification Service as well as the Interested Vendors List for this acquisition (see applicable tab within FedBizOpps where this synopsis/solicitation is posted). Potential quoters may direct all inquiries pertaining to the solicitation in writing to tameka.long@noaa.gov on or before January 28, 2015. Telephonic requests will not be honored.
