Description

The Government intends to hold the MRBM Type 3 Configuration 2 (MRBM T3c2) Industry Day event (including one-on-one sessions) on February 2, 2015 through February 3, 2015, beginning at 8:00 AM CST. The event will be held at the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Von Braun-III Complex Auditorium in Huntsville, Alabama, at address: 5224 Martin Road, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898. The Industry Day event will be classified; therefore, anyone attending any portion of the event must have, at a minimum, a security clearance to at least the "SECRET" level on file with MDA. A single point of contact is required to RSVP, via email, for each company's attendee(s) to: MRBM_T3c2TargetsProc@mda.mil. Please title your email subject line as "RSVP MRBM T3c2 Industry Day". The Industry Day attendance is restricted to six (6) representatives for each company (to include subcontractor representatives) for the duration of the event. Please include each attendee's full name, company, email address, and phone number in the RSVP email. This event requires that all attendees have a Visit Access Request (VAR) on file at MDA NLT Noon on January 28, 2015. The MDA VAR process, other pertinent information for the event and instructions on how to schedule a one-on-one session time slot will be provided via email response to the RSVP email. RSVPs are required NLT Noon CST on January 28, 2015 for all proposed attendees. Please read the MDA VAR process carefully, individuals without a VAR on file with MDA will not be allowed access to the event. Additionally, individual that fail to RSVP will not be allowed access to the event. Note: Verbal or telephone requests are not acceptable RSVP responses. Check-in for this event will begin at 7:00 AM on Monday, February 2, 2015. The Industry Day morning general session will begin promptly at 8:00 AM. The morning general session will include an overview briefing and discussion of acquisition requirements. The Government intends to conduct focused one-on-one sessions with companies that plan to compete as Prime Offerors after the general session from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM and continue on February 3, 2015 beginning at 8:00 AM. Registration for one-on-one session time slots is on a first come/first served basis and will be limited to 90 minutes for each Prime Offeror. The intent of the one-on-one session is to allow Prime Offerors an opportunity to provide the Government with feedback, questions or concerns with the DRFP, especially the Target System Performance Specification (TSPS), Statement of Work (SOW), Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) structure, and contract terms and conditions. The Government's intent is to provide responses to Industry questions in a timely manner, following the Industry Day event. Responses to unclassified questions will be posted to FedBizOpps and responses to classified questions will be delivered upon request via certified mail, FedEx, or can be picked up by a certified courier. All classified and unclassified questions are required to be annotated on the "MDA Offeror Comments Matrix" format provided with the DRFP Section L Attachment 1. Prime Offerors are encouraged to submit questions as soon as possible. However, to ensure the Government can finalize the RFP to meet acquisition timelines, all industry unclassified questions related to the DRFP must be received by February 9, 2015 and classified questions must be received by February 13, 2015. Note: This is NOT a bidder's conference and this announcement is not required for proposal, a promise to contract or a commitment of any kind. The Government will not assume liability for costs incurred by a vendor for travel, marketing efforts or data offered for examination. Therefore, the cost of preparing information in response to this notice is not considered an allowable direct or indirect charge to the Government.
