Description

Sources Sought The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 22, Network Contracting Office, intends to release a solicitation under FAR Part 13 for the acquisition of research and development services from a vendor that is a capable of performing evaluation of management process and suggest improvement for a wide array of health and human service programs. The vendor shall evaluate the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHS) timeliness of access (i.e., wait time and delays in healthcare) and make strategic recommendations for ongoing improvements. There will be no sensitive data shared to the vendor including Personal Health Information (PHI). The Government will share access/scheduling data with the vendor to identify strategies for improving access and scheduling procedures. The interviews will be with VAGLAHS leaders, managers and selected personnel. No identifying information will be used in any summary or report. The vendor shall provide all resources necessary to accomplish the required services. Location: Services will be performed at VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, 11301 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90073. Performance Period: The vendor shall complete the work required from February 2, 2015 through June 20, 2015. Interested parties must submit an unclassified Statement of Capability (SOC) demonstrating capability of services required and whether they can provide these services under GSA schedule or open market. The SOC must include the following: business name, point of contact name, telephone, email address, DUNS number, GSA contract if applicable, business size (small, large) and small business designation (small, veteran own, service disable, women owned, etc.). This notice does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ). Information herein is based on the best information available at the time of publication, is subject to revision, and is not binding on the Government. The Government will not recognize any cost associated with the submission of a SOC. Submit all responses not later than 07:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time on January 28, 2014 to the attention of Mr. Edgar Alvizar at edgar.alvizar@va.gov with "Interested Contractor - Research Study for timeliness of access to Care" on the subject line. Telephone responses shall NOT be accepted.
