Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with FAR 13. The Department of Veterans Affairs Albany Stratton Veterans Administration (VAMC), 113 Holland Avenue, Albany, New York 12208-3410 intends to award a firm, fixed price services contract to provide linens, uniforms and professional medical laundry service. The NAICS code for this requirement is 812332 ($38.5 Million). This requirement is 100% set aside for Small Business. This announcement and the associated attachments constitute the only solicitation; proposals are being requested. The solicitation will be available on the Federal Business Opportunity (FedBizOpps.gov) site only. Hard Copies of the solicitation documents will not be available, therefore; no written, telephone, or facsimile request for documents will be accepted. The FedBizOps site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including the solicitation and any amendments, will be distributed solely through the FedBizOps site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FedBizOps site to assure that they have the most up to date information about this acquisition. All offerors must be registered in SAM prior to submission of proposals. Any questions must be emailed to the Contracting Officer by February 9, 2015 at 4:00 pm EST. All proposals are due on February 16, 2015 at 2:00 pm EST and should be emailed to richard.williams18@va.gov.
