Description

The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), National Acquisition Center (NAC) intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the VA to interested sources to provide the following: Two (2) recessed floor scales One (1) soil storage/automated sorting conveyor system Two (2) soiled and clean side overhead automated monorail/storage conveyor systems Two (2) continuous wash extract tunnel washing systems Two (2) 400/500 lb. washer extractor (non-production) Four (4) 80/100 lb. washer extractors with steam injection Four (4) small piece folders Six (6) folding tables One (1) central wet/dry vacuum system One (1) hot water heating system/wastewater recycling system and energy monitoring system Two (2) thermal fluid flatwork ironing systems One (1) garment tunnel finisher One (1) large piece blanket folder This equipment is to be installed at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) Laundry Facility located in Battle Creek, MI. NAICS code 333318 and Small Business Size Standard 1,000 employees are applicable to determine business size standard. Request for Proposals shall be issued on or about February 18, 2015.
