Description

This Request for Information (RFI) is issued as Unrestricted and all interested vendors may respond. The Office of Information Technology (OIT)supports the Commission and staff of the SEC in all aspects of information technology. OIT has overall management responsibility for the Commission's IT program including application development, infrastructure operations and engineering, user support, IT program management, capital planning, security, and enterprise architecture. The Office operates more than 100 applications including the Electronic Data Gathering Analysis and Retrieval (EDGAR) system, which electronically receives, processes, and disseminates more than 500,000 financial statements every year. The Office also maintains a very active website that contains a wealth of information about the Commission and the securities industry, and also hosts the EDGAR database for free public access. A detailed overview of the SEC IT environment is provided in Attachment A. The SEC currently has a technology Infrastructure Support Services (ISS) contract that is nearing the end of its five year term. The current five year ISS contract ends on April 30, 2016. The services provided under the ISS contract are organized into the following categories: 1. Enterprise Operations 2. Enterprise Infrastructure 3. Enterprise Architecture 4. Common Services
