- The Marine Corps Logistics Command (MCLC) Albany, GA Contracts Department (S1940) intends to solicit and award a firm fixed price contract on a sole-source basis to High Tech Insulators of Livonia, MI for the service described below. The high temperature resistant coating process used, is proprietary and a specific insulation which is applied to exhaust component used in the rebuilding of the Amphibious Assault Vehicle (AAV). No substitute product has been approved or is acceptable (see attached Justification /Approval and Drawing). Any source interested in becoming an approved source for this recurring requirement may contact the person(s) above for additional information. No solicitation will be posted on this website for this requirement.
