- Description
- The Social Security Administration (SSA) has a requirement to obtain television services and business class internet services for all the buildings in the Social Security Administrations headquarters campus in Woodlawn, Maryland. It is SSA's intent to procure this requirement utilizing the procedures in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items in conjunction with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Northern American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 517919. The size standard is $32.5 M. SSA anticipates awarding a firm fixed price contract for this effort. The period of performance shall be for one year, with four 1-year option periods. The solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis. It is anticipated that the Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued on or about January 27, 2015. The selection decision will be evaluated in accordance with a tiered evaluation determination and ultimately based on lowest price technical acceptable quote. The RFQ will be issued under solicitation SSA-RFQ-15-0147. The solicitation and any related documents will be made available to interested parties through electronic media for downloading via the internet at FEDBIZOPPS. No hard copies of the solicitation will be available. Potential offerors shall be responsible for monitoring the internet site for release of the solicitation and any amendments.
