The Department Of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 15 intends to award a task order against NAC contract V797P-6033B, under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253(c) (1) - FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to Toshiba America Medical Systems 2441 Michelle Dr., Tustin, CA. 92780. TAMS will be performing preventative maintenance and services on two Toshiba CT-scanners at the Marion Illinois VA Medical Center. The place of performance is for the Marion Illinois VA Medical Center is located at 2401 West main Street Marion, IL 62959. The NAICS code is 811219 with a size standard of $20.5 Million. The task-order number is VA255-15-J-1731. This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price task-order. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; interested parties may express their interest by providing a capabilities statement NLT February 1, 2015 at 2:00 PM CST. The capabilities statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required services. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer to Announcement V797P-6033B Notice of Intent. If after February 1, 2015, no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement, Department Of Veterans Affairs shall negotiate solely with Toshiba America Medical Systems. This notice of intent to award a sole source task-order is not a request for competitive quotes. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Phone calls will not be accepted.
