- Description
- Eglin Air Force Base (AFB), FL, intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a requirement for Refuse Collection and Recycling Services at Eglin AFB, Florida, as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Contractor services will include the following: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform Integrated Solid Waste Management, Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) collection and Recycling services at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. Services shall be performed for Eglin Main, Duke Field, Camp Rudder, 7TH Special Forces, Eglin ranges and sites. The contractor shall perform to the standards in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) as well as all Federal, State, and local regulations. This acquisition will be a competitive 8(a) small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 562111 with a small business standard size of $38.5M. This acquisition will utilize the Trade-Off Source Selection Process in accordance with FAR part 15, Contracting by Negotiation and DoD Source Selection Procedures. Additionally, commercial practices will be utilized in this procurement. Period of performance is expected to be 1 October 2015 through 30 September 2016, with four additional one year options. The Government reserves the right not to exercise the Option periods. Any resulting contract shall be firm-fixed-price. The following is the anticipated CLIN structure for the basic requirement, without subsequent Option Year CLIN's. CLIN 0001: 1 LOT - Description: The Contractor will provide all materials, tools, equipment, labor, transportation, supervision, storage, and personnel necessary to provide refuse collection and disposal for Eglin AFB, Duke Field, Camp Rudder, 7th Special Forces, Eglin AFB Ranges and Sites om accordance with the Performance Work Statement date 15 January 2015. Potential offerors should note that a site visit will be held for this requirement. Prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Registration can be completed by going to https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/#1 and completing the registration process. The solicitation package will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website on or about 15 February 2015, which can be accessed at http://www.fbo.gov/. Paper copies will not be available. The contractor is responsible for obtaining the solicitation, amendments, and any other documentation from the FBO webpage.
