Description
T he Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to increase the ceiling under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00024-12-G-4330 with general dynamics, Bath Iron Works (BIW), 700 Washington Street; Bath, ME 04530 for Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Post-Interim Support Plan (ISP) effort on LCS 2 variant ships. An increase in ceiling and extension of the performance period is required to continue supporting these requirements in accordance with LCS operational schedules. Fixed-Price and/or Cost Reimbursement type delivery orders to be issued under BOA N00024-12-G-4330 will provide for production and associated support for the above-described requirements of USS INDEPENDENCE (LCS 2) AND USS CORONADO (LCS 4), specifically in support of LCS 2 through the upcoming Mine Countermeasures (MCM) Mission Package (MP) Technical Evaluation and Initial Operational Test & Evaluation (IOT&E), commencing in 2 nd Qtr. 2015; and LCS 4 through the upcoming Surface Warfare (SUW) MP IOT&E commencing in 3rd Qtr. 2015. NAVSEA intends to issue orders under this "class synopsis" on multiple occasions through 30 September 2015. Orders will be issued pursuant to 10 USC 2304(c)(1), only one or a limited number of sources and no other types of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed agreement actions are for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. This presolicitation notice does not constitute an Invitation for Bid or Request for Proposal, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government of any kind.
