- Description
- The purpose of this project is to secure a complete set of services to accomplish vegetation management. Vegetation management includes precommercial thinning, (stand density management), release, girdling, pruning, planting, and animal damage control. The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, transportation, tools, materials and equipment required for the safe and timely completion of the project except as specifically noted otherwise. Project work may occur on the Willamette, Umpqua, and Siuslaw National Forests and on the Eugene and Salem Districts BLM. This project will be an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity with a period of performance from date of award through 31 December 2017. Work to be specified, location of work and contract performance period will be ordered via Individual Project Task Orders. The total amount of all task orders, when combined, will not exceed $2,000,000.00. The minimum guarantee for each award is $1,000.00. The Government intends to award up to six (6) contracts resulting from this solicitation. The proposed procurement is totally set-aside for Small Business Concerns. Solicitation will be available for download from FedBizOpps website at http://www.fbo.gov on or about 2/17/15. Note: prospective awardee shall be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) data base prior to award. Information on registration may be obtained via the internet at: http://www.sam.gov. All contractors and vendors must complete the electronic version of the Representations and Certifications in the SAM system. This procurement requires the use of bio based products to the extent that such products are reasonably available, meet agency or relevant industry performance standards, and are reasonably priced. Where available, these products should first be acquired from among qualified products that fall under the umbrella of items designated through the Federal Bio based Products Preferred Procurement Program (FB4P).
