- Description
- This is a notice of intent that AFMC AFSC/PZAAC anticipates issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a Commercial Sole Source Repair Acquisition. This is a Firm- Fixed Price Type Acquisition for the Repair of B-52 MUSTANG Tester Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) (Display Unit). This acquisition will consist of a 5-Year Period to include Basic Year, plus Four (4) Option Years. The Input NSN is: 7025-01-567-9505KV. The P/N is: TE6,4BCGA. The Grand Total Quantity is 30 Each. The Quantity Breakdown is as follows: Basic Year Quantity = 7 Each; Option I Quantity = 6 Each; Option II Quantity = 5 Each; Option III Quantity = 7 Each; and Option IV Quantity = 5 Each. This acquisition is Sole Source to: Tech Electronic Systems, Inc., (Cage Code: ORA54). Delivery will be 90 Days After Receipt of Asset /Reparable (or) 90 Days After Receipt of Order (whichever is later). Early Delivery is acceptable. The issue date for the Solicitation will be approximately17 February 2015 with a Proposal Due Date of 16 March 2015. The RFQ will be issued using electronic procedures which will be posted at the following website: www.fedbizopps.gov. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED and no hard copies will be mailed out. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation shall be considered. OMBUDSMAN: All potential offeror(s) should contact the Buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If the Contracting Officer does not satisfy your concerns, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program Director or Contracting Officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. When appropriate, potential offeror(s) may contact Ombudsman Ms. Kim McDonald at 478-222-1088.
