Description

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Eastern Acquisitions Service Area, Southern Region, AAQ-510 ATL, College Park, Georgia has a requirement for the Construction of two 70 FT Free Standing Communication Antenna Towers and Heliax Cables at the Louisville MS RCAG. This requirement is set-aside solely for Pre-Existing/Qualified Contractors under the Eastern Logistics Service Area Basic Ordering Agreements (BOA). The contract numbers are DTFAEN-11-A-00001 through DTFAEN-11-A-00050. Performance time for the entire project is 60 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP). His phone numbers are O- 662-329-1745 and C- 662-574-7608. Daryl needs to be notified 48 hours in advance, if a contractor plans on attending the Site Visit. SITE VISIT ATTENDANCE IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. All Requests for Information (RFI) must be emailed to the Contracting Officer (karina.espinosa@faa.gov) no later than February 4, 2015 at 3:00 PM EST Potential offerors should note that the FAA reserves the right to communicate with one or more offerors at any time during the SIR process. To be considered for award of this project, the contractor must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database (website: www.sam.gov). Mailed proposal must be sealed and labeled as follows: RFP # DTFAEN-15-R-00024. Emailed proposals must put the RFP # in the Subject line. Proposals are due no later than February 17, 2015, at 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST). If all requested information/documents are not furnished, the vendor's response may be determined non-responsive and be excluded from evaluation. This RFP is not to be construed as a contract or a commitment of any kind. The Government shall not be liable for payment of any costs attributed to the preparation and submission of requested proposal documentation. Magnitude of Construction Projects: The estimated construction price if between $100,000 and $200,000. NOTICE for informational purposes for Minority, Women-owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
