This is a notice of intent; The Overton Brooks VA Medical Center intends to negotiate a sole source firm fixed price contract with Flame Logic DBA Harry H Jones Plumbing and Heating located at 9160 Highway 64 Ste. 12 #252, Lakeland, TN 38002 for the replacement/upgrade of the Boiler Controls for Boilers #1, #2, &#3, Building #3 Boiler Plant. Flame Logic is a certified Hays Cleveland representative/dealer/installer for UPAC (Universal Programmable Automation Controllers) Touchscreen Controls. Flame Logic is the incumbent manufacturer and the only authorized vendor to service this equipment. The statutory authority for the sole source procurement is FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
