- Description
- The General Services Administration (GSA) Region 4 announces an opportunity for design-build construction services for the USMS Fitness Center Renovation Phase I project at the McMillian Federal Building in Florence, South Carolina. The work includes design; finish selections; site investigation; demolition; site supervision; drywall and any associated HVAC modifications, electrical modifications/additions, and fire sprinkler system modifications. There are approximately 2000 sf for the renovation. The estimated cost of this project falls within the range of $50,000 to $100,000, with an anticipated project duration of approximately 217 calendar days for both design and construction. This procurement is set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. The North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) is 236220 with a size standard of $33.5 Million This is a Pre-solicitation Notice only. Interested contractors should watch for issuance of the Solicitation which will contain specific instructions, requirements and information regarding the Pre-proposal Conference, Site Visit and Offer due date. The Solicitation will be available on or about February 12, 2015. This is a negotiated procurement. There will NOT be a public bid opening. The award will be made to the responsible Offeror whose offer conforms to the Solicitation and offers the best value to the Government considering technical factors set forth in the Solicitation and evaluated price.
