- This is a Notice of Intent. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The announcement number for this acquisition is HHS-NIH-OLAO-OD-3624919 and is being issued under the authority of FAR Subpart 5.101 under the conditions as described in 6.302-1, 41 United States Code (U.S.C.) 253 ( c ) (1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334510, which has a size standard of 500 employees. The National Institutes of Health intends to procure Maintenance and Software Services with four option years for the Anesthesia Machines and Cardio Cap/5 located on NIH Main Campus, Building 49. The period of performance shall begin April 1, 2015 through March 31, 2016. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, the Government will consider responses submitted. Responses must be submitted no later than 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST), February 3, 2015 to Ms. Van Holley at holleyv@od.nih.gov, Office of Acquisitions Branch. Only electronic submissions will be accepted. All information furnished must be in writing and must contain sufficient detail to allow the government to determine if it can meet the above specifications described herein. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Please reference the announcement number on all correspondence.
