Description

PRE-SOLICITATION NON-COMPETITIVE (NOTICE OF INTENT) SYNOPSIS INTRODUCTION THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NON-COMPETITIVE (NOTICE OF INTENT) SYNOPSIS TO AWARD A CONTRACT WITHOUT PROVIDING FOR FULL OR OPEN COMPETITION. The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI), Office of Acquisitions (OA) on behalf of the Division of Lung Diseases intends to negotiate and award a single cost reimbursement contract without providing for full and open competition to RTI International in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, to continue supporting the SMARTT Program by monitoring and coordinating the organizational complexities and regulatory aspects of the program. The award would extend Coordinating Center services for an additional 36 months, with a base period of 12 months and two option periods of 12 months each option period. SEE ATTACHMENT.
