Description

The US Army Corps of Engineers, Detroit District, intends to solicit for a contract that includes but may not be limited to the following: The project consists of removing approximately 1,000 lineal feet of existing feeder cable. The new cable(s) shall be rated 15kV URD and be of 500 kcmil copper. The Contractor shall be required to develop a splice kit for the connection between the existing PILC cable and the new cable to be installed. The Contractor is also responsible for termination kit at the substation. The project will be advertised as UNRESTRICTED, via Federal Business Opportunities (FBO.gov) as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 238210 with a small business size standard of $15.0 million. The solicitation will be available on FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) in February 2015. Requests for solicitation packages made by telephone, fax, or email will not be honored as contractors must download these from the FedBizOpps. In order for interested contractors to conduct business with the Federal Government, contractors must register their firms at the System for Award Management (SAM). Contractors can access and register their firms at SAM for free at www.SAM.gov.
