- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6, and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is 0010635187, and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-55. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811219. This requirement is a 100% set-aside for small business, and only qualified offers' may submit bids. The lowest price technically acceptable source selection process will be followed. The solicitation will start on Tuesday January 27, 2015 and will end on Thursday February 5, 2015 at 3:00 pm Eastern Time, or as otherwise posted at http://www.fbo.gov. This requirement is for the purchase of Calibration, Preventative Maintenance and Emergency Services to a government - owned Instron Tensile Tester Serial Number: 3366P7234. This requirements includes a Base Year with Option Years One and Two. The Government contemplates award of a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract. Specifications are listed within the CLINS (see below) and within a separate file attached to the posting: Statement of Work. All interested vendors must respond by Thursday February 5, 2015 at 3:00 pm. The lowest price technically acceptable source selection process will be followed.
