- Amendment 0001 Announcement Number: MCC-15-RFP-0021_Amendment 0001 (PSC-Niger) The purpose of Amendment 0001 to solicitation MCC-15-RFP-0021 is to: Add two (2) annual Options to extend the period of performance. The Options can be exercised solely at the discretion of the Government. The following clause will be incorporated in any resulting contract: 52.217-9 OPTION TO EXTEND THE TERM OF THE CONTRACT (MAR 2000) (a) The Government may extend the term of this contract by written notice to the Contractor within 0 days; provided that the Government gives the Contractor a preliminary written notice of its intent to extend at least 30 days before the contract expires. The preliminary notice does not commit the Government to an extension. (b) If the Government exercises this option, the extended contract shall be considered to include this option clause. (c) The total duration of this contract, including the exercise of any options under this clause, shall not exceed three (3) years. Instructions to Applicants: The due date for submittal of proposals is extended until 3:00pm EST of Thursday, January 29, 2015. All responsible applicants are invited to submit an offer. Applicants who have already applied for this position DO NOT need to resubmit an application unless Amendment 0001 requires a change of offer. All other terms and conditions of the solicitation remain the same.
