- THIS AMENDMENT IS TO EXTEND RESPONSE DATE FROM JANUARY 28, 2015 TO FEBRUARY 6, 2015 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation reference number F4ATA34323AW01 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-60. This acquisition is a 100% set aside for small businesses under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 333618. The small business size standard is 1000 Employees. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be awarded in accordance with FAR Part 13. CONTRACT LINE ITEM NUMBERS (CLIN) - This RFQ consists of the following Exact Match Only, Deutz Diesel Brand Name CLINs CLIN 0001 Diesel Engine Assembly Kits (Qty 12) - Each kit shall contain the items identified in the two lists below: The following items are Deutz Brand Name : Diesel Engine Assembly Kit: One (1) Duetz Diesel Tier 4i Engine with EGR Valve, rateded for 63.7 HP @2600 RPM, 24 Volt System, OEM Paint Specifications: Black, P/N D2011L04i. The diesel engine must include the following 24 volt items: - 1 Starter, 24 Volt, P/N: 4300286 - 1 Alternator, 24 Volt, P/N: 4103903 - 1 Shutdown Solenoid, 24 Volt, P/N: 4103822 - Two (2) Glow Plugs, 24 Volt, P/N: 1179017 - 1 LOFA 24 Volt Control Panel with internal Gauge illumination wiring harness and no external factory wiring harness P/N: EP250KL7 - 1 Power Take-off (PTO) Package, HSG Size: 4; Clutch Size: 8S (PTO). Delivery date of 120 days after award of contract will be consider when quotes are submitted. 2. Engines need to be assembled and ran prior to shipping with a letter provided, affirming that all the engines and applications ran normal. **This is a Brand Name requirement. Quotes that contain equipment that is not an EXACT MATCH of the brand name and parts numbers listed will not be considered. ** The contractor must provide New Equipment ONLY; NO remanufactured or "gray market" items. All items must be covered by the standard manufacturer's warranty. The contractor must provide all products via manufacturer authorized channels for new equipment Federal sales. **FOB Destination: Valid quotes shall include the cost of shipping in price of items. EVALUATION FACTORS In accordance with FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation - Commercial Items, the Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
