- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE. THIS PROCUREMENT IS 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL The Government intends to secure services, labor, and material for construction, additions, alterations, roofing, maintenance, and repairs at the various buildings and structures at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, Glynco, Georgia through the issuances of individual task orders under Multiple Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts. The government anticipates the award of two IDIQ contracts. The Contractor shall furnish, for the basic contract and each individual task order issued thereunder, all labor, transportation, materials, equipment, supervision, and quality control, necessary to perform the required construction, maintenance, and alterations. The contract duration will be a base period of 12 months from the date of award with four 12 months option periods with an option for a 6-month extension of services in accordance with FAR 52.217-8 to be exercised at the Government's discretion. Each contract will have a guaranteed minimum of $150,000.00 with a maximum estimated contract value of $16,500,000 for the life of the contract. The estimated execution per year for planning purposes is approximately $2.5 million per contract average. This is for planning purposes only and is NOT guaranteed. Task Orders will typically range from $2,000.00 to $500,000.00, and may involve a variety of trades including but not limited to architectural, mechanical, civil, structural, roofing, demolition, electrical, environmental support, carpentry, roadwork, painting, plumbing, and masonry. Services for the Base period (and subsequent option periods, if exercised) shall be at the unit prices specified in R. S. MEANS FACILITIES CONSTRUCTION COST DATA, using the Total Cost column, which provides for subcontractor overhead and profit for each individual line item, the sum of which shall be multiplied times the applicable coefficients. The solicitation package will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities website in approximately three weeks. The contractor remains responsible for checking the website regularly for the solicitation and subsequent amendments. Scheduling of a pre-proposal site visit is anticipated with details to be outlined in the solicitation package. One of more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreement.
