Auction Number: A0002765 Item: Used Petroleum Products Location: Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, WA/DLA Disposition Services Lewis One Year Contract with the option of two one-year extensions Annual Generation: 75,000 gallons Sale is posted on the web at this address: https://www.sales.dla.mil/dlab2b/init.do# USED PETROELEUM PRODUCTS: Including 73% used lube oil from combustion engines, machinery and oil recovered from bile water, containing approximately 20% diesel and/or jet fuel with less than 7% water, less than 1000 ppm chlorinated solvents, non-state regulated. Property location: Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, WA. DEMIL A DOT HAZ CLASS: 3 ANNUAL GENERATION: 75,000 GALLONS DLA Disposition Services Lewis Point of Contact: Antoinette Hardeman, phone 253-967-3987. NOTE: THE U.S. GOVERNMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO EXTEND THE CONTRACT FOR UP TO TWO ADDITIONAL ONE-YEAR PERIODS IF DEEMED TO BE IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE GOVERNMENT. CONTRACT QUANTITY WILL INCREASED BY THE ANNUAL GENERATION IF EXTENSION IS EXERCISED. Purchaser will be responsible for rigging, loading, securing and transporting purchased property, including all costs and risks associated with removal. Unless otherwise stated, PSNS will provide a free tailgate loading but will NOT guarantee a specific loading time. In consideration for this 'no cost' loading service, purchaser agrees to release, hold Government harmless and waive any and all claims, causes of actions, damages (including consequential damages or loss of use) or liabilities of any kind or nature. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Transfer of pure petroleum or oily waste water products to or from vessels shall follow the requirements of 33 CFR Part 154 and 156 which includes but not limited to the following: 1. Be fully trained as a Person in Charge of transfer and receiving evolutions. 2. Annual hose test records available on the truck upon arrival. 3. Hoses marked with the appropriate markings per 33 CFR part 154.500. 4. Complete the Declaration of Inspection (DOI). 5. Copy of the company's Coast Guard approved Transfer Operations Manual on site. SPECIAL PSNS ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: All personnel entering the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard for material removal are required to be US citizens. A true copy of a person's birth certificate with a raised state seal or valid passport, and a completed DHS form I-9 must be presented to the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard Pass and ID Office.
