- This requirement will be set aside for small businesses when it is solicited. OVERVIEW The intent is to purchase 26 HX330 and 40 HX300 UPS Batteries and have them installed in room 149 and 216 respectively. This effort includes set-up, delivery, removal, installation and disposal of existing batteries and a one (1) year follow-up maintenance and inspection of batteries and UPS System to eliminate any functionality issues with the transition of new batteries to an older UPS system. Delivery, installation, and Set-up of the new batteries, as well as the removal and disposal of existing batteries, shall be completed no later than 30 days after contract award. The period of performance for the one year of maintenance support will begin upon installation and acceptance of equipment and extend 365 days. The Contractor shall provide those services, specialized personnel, materials and related equipment to perform the work delineated herein. Site visits are available upon request during the solicitation period and encouraged to become familiar with the layout of the facility so as to ascertain equipment requirements to unload, move batteries to designated staging area, set-up, install and finally move batteries to their respective rooms for installation. Battery Models and Quantities: 26 Batteries are to go into a Liebert UPS, Model AP340 and 40 Batteries are to go into an Emerson UPS, Model 37BP050XPJ1BNL. SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT This notice is in reference to the replacement of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) Batteries for the Integration and Development Environment building located at 3045 Technology Parkway, Orlando, FL 32826-3276. The Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) will be setting this requirement a side for small businesses.
