- Tomorrow Now RFI RFI Instructions This is a Request for Information (RFI) regarding a potential formal solicitation. Requirement background: The Foreign Service Institute (FSI) at the Department of State seeks a contractor capable of designing, developing, and delivering the pilot iteration of an experiential multi-day training course: Tomorrow Now: American Diplomacy in a World of Rapid Change. FSI is seeking a learning environment in which participants will explore the major political, technological, cultural and environmental trends that are changing today's global environment and are likely to transform the world of the future. The objective of this course is to provide foreign affairs professionals with a framework for thinking about the future of diplomacy over the next 10-15 years so they are prepared to identify key global changes and paradigm shifts, with an emphasis on emerging technologies; analyze the implications of those changes; and create responsive and innovative approaches that seize opportunities and mitigate threats.
