- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York District intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the placement of 1,400,000 cubic yards of sand for initial construction of the Loch Arbour- Deal shoreline, along with modification to six (6) existing stormwater outfalls and modification of two existing groins. The estimated project duration for the work is 270 days. There are no optional items. Sand will be dredged by the contractor from an offshore borrow area, located 3-5 miles offshore of Sandy Hook, NJ.
