- This is a request for information notice. This is not a request for proposals and no contract shall be awarded based on this sources sought notice. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command Center, Fort McCoy, WI is conducting market research in order to determine the availability and capability of companies to perform Refuse and Recycling Services at multiple US Army Reserve Centers in Illinois. Cities include: Bloomington, Canton, Danville, Decatur, Peru, Quincy, Springfield, and Urbana. Work to be performed under this firm fixed-price type contract will be within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 562111- Solid Waste Collection with a size standard of $38.5 Million. Please email Kelly Gordon at kelly.j.gordon.civ@mail.mil with a response indicating your interest to this requirement by 3:00 P.M. on February 3, 2014. Responses should include the following: (1) Reference Sources Sought Number (2) DUNS number (3) Size of the business (small or large) and the socioeconomic status of the company (i.e. HUBZone small business, 8 (a) business, etc) (4) Statement of Capability stating your skills experience, knowledge, and equipment required to perform the specified type of work. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests. Mission and Installation Contracting Command Centers determination on how to complete the proposed requirement will be made by the Contracting Officer based on responses to this notice.
